Addressing the Inevitable

This month, I’m forced to address a somber topic. As you know, over the last 6 months or so, the costs of most consumer goods have increased. Consequently, we have received numerous letters from suppliers informing us of price increases. Up until now, we have absorbed these costs as best we could, but it’s not possible for us to continue to do so. Therefore, we ask for your understanding in regards to the price increases we will be forced to implement on some of our products beginning December 1, 2008. While I expect this to be minimal in most cases, I felt it important to give you advance notice. We should be able to identify affected products in the November newsletter.

Faced with the same scenario, some companies may resort to purchasing lesser quality materials from their suppliers. However, our customers know they can trust us to provide the finest quality ingredients, free of contaminants, as we simply will not compromise quality to keep our prices down.

We plan to do everything possible to offset the additional costs so we can keep our high-quality products as affordable as possible.

Meanwhile, you may want to take advantage of our volume discount, where you can save 10 to 30 percent on your order. Another option is the Auto Order program, where customers receive a 20 percent savings on every Auto Order shipped.

Your continued support means a lot to us; without you we do not exist. We want to continue to earn that support by producing not only the finest quality nutritional supplements, but also continuing to provide you with the quality information necessary to make informed choices about your health.
