Recent advances in liposome technology now allow glutathione to be provided in a stable, oral dietary supplement. Basic science research shows that glutathione works as both an antioxidant and a detoxifying agent. Glutathione plays a very fundamental role in protecting against oxidative stress. Glutathione’s advantage over vitamins C and E is that it works with enzymes that increase its utility.
A study using liposomal glutathione showed for the first time that the enzyme glutathione peroxidase is found to be naturally embedded in LDL cholesterol. Liposomal glutathione was able to slow the oxidation of LDL cholesterol and to slow the formation of the vascular plaque in the animal model. Glutathione-S transferase (GST) is an enzyme linking glutathione to toxins. When it is low, there can be an increased risk for a number of conditions associated with low glutathione. The findings of the animal study suggest that liposomal glutathione may be useful in supporting normal glutathione levels and function.
Glutathione has been found to be low in the bronchiolar lining fluid of the lung during bronchospasm and to be low in the brain cells that produce the dopamine involved in facilitating movement in neurodegenerative conditions. The role that glutathione plays as an antioxidant and detoxifying agent and its role in supporting normal immune function will be reviewed in the presentation.

Some people can tell when a particular food they ate disagreed with them and they will avoid it, while others, without noticing it, have been eating foods that have been slowly eroding their health. This is because they have become used to the symptoms of low grade inflammation in their GI tracts. Many common symptoms are really the result of the lectin interactions with our immune systems. An example of a common lectin, that many have heard of, is gluten or gliadin. Some of the post-meal reactions to lectins are:
- Headaches, brain fog, lack of concentration
- Skin problems such as itchiness, eczema, and acne
- Water retention, puffiness around the eyes, extremities
- Bloating—a very common symptom
- Easy weight gain and stubborn weight loss
- Chronic fatigue and post-meal fatigue
- Chronically clearing throat and excess mucous
- Respiratory symptoms like chronic, (non-illness) coughing
- Joint stiffness and pain (particularly in the morning)
- Urinary weakness or chronic inflammation or infection
- Abdominal pain and gas with meals, excessive belching (lectins can also lower the HCL levels impairing digestion)
- Gastric reflux and upset stomach
- Irritable bowel and spastic colon
- Hyperactivity
- Sinus problems, itchy nose, congestion and post-nasal drip
- Insulin shifts affecting blood sugar balance
This webinar will define lectins and their impact on health.

An astounding 43 million Americans suffer either macular degeneration or cataracts,
the two leading causes of vision loss and blindness. Your vision is too precious
not to protect. Once you start noticing changes, damage has already begun to occur.
The human eye is the only place that your physician can visually assess your blood
vessels and nerves. Indeed it can be a window into your overall health and taking
charge is essential.
It is time to be proactive and not become another statistic like 1 in 4 Americans
age 40 and older suffering from some sort of visual loss. We all assume that our
macula, retina, cornea, lens and optic nerve will just keep on working, yet they
need critical nutrients to help sustain peak performance. Join me on how to help
protect your vision during Save Your Vision month...

High Blood Pressure, known as the silent killer, can literally rob you of longevity,
quality of life and the wellness to enjoy life to its fullest. Excess circulatory
pressure leads to excess wear and tear on the blood vessels that nourish the 75
trillion cells within your body and puts a true hardship on the 10 ounce pump called
the human heart.
Join this webinar to learn about high blood pressure, risk factors and natural ways
to help ease the pressure that you or a loved one may unknowingly be suffering from.

Candida albicans can lead to a wide array of health concerns and can literally erode
away ones health. Overgrowth of yeast is linked with:
|
• Fatigue |
• GI tract disturbances |
|
• Immune system weakness |
• Skin and mucous membrane infections |
Establishing a healthy ecology within the human body is essential to the 75 trillion
cells that make up the human frame. A comparison can be made environmentally of
the efforts expended to protect a wetland or forest habitat.
With overuse of antibiotics, the prevalence of high carb foods, and stress (just
to mention a few risk factors), far too many people suffer from the ill effects
of yeast. Just as we focus on detoxification protocols to eliminate toxins from
the body, the toxins from yeast are very real and can erode away even the strongest
of health foundations.
In this webinar, you will learn about 3 simple steps to help put you in control
of yeast and further establish a strong health-promoting wellness program.

Two-thirds of the adults in the United States are now overweight or obese. Obesity
is an increasing trend in nearly every developed nation and affects people of all
ages, ethnic groups and economic levels. Overweight and obesity are known risk factors
for five major health issues:
|
• Coronary Artery Disease |
• Stroke |
|
• High Blood Pressure |
• Diabetes |
|
• Elevated Triglycerides and Cholesterol |
|
One type of overweight, characterized by abdominal
obesity, is particularly serious because of its role in the development
of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
Belly fat isn’t just an issue with your appearance – it includes dangerous
visceral fat, which contributes significantly to the onset of the metabolic syndrome,
a condition which includes the early manifestations of the more serious health conditions
noted above.
This webinar will review the background, prevalence and physiology of the metabolic
syndrome, and present Glabrinex™,
a new, clinically proven dietary supplement that can reduce the risks of metabolic
syndrome by safely mobilizing existing visceral fat and inhibiting the formation
of additional visceral fat while reducing waist circumference.
Belly fat is endangering the health of over 50 million Americans – Are you at risk?

Are you at unnecessary risk for future health conditions?
Vitamin D deficiency is reaching epidemic levels, contributing to unnecessary suffering,
disease states and decreased quality of life. A combination of sedentary indoor
living and use of sunscreens and SPF cosmetics is further contributing to the health
crisis. It is estimated that upwards of 50% of Americans are Vitamin D insufficient.
Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to:
- Various forms of cancer, including breast, prostate and colon cancer
- Fractures
- Hypertension
- Heart Disease
- Decreased immunity and lowered resistance to influenza and viruses
- Depression
- Pain and Muscle Aches
- High C-Reactive Protein levels
- Insulin Resistance
- Osteoporosis
While Reference Daily Intakes remain static at 400 IU per day, current research
shows that dosages up to 5,000 IU may provide significant health benefits, and that
safe upper limits could be as high as 10,000 IU.
Are you getting enough Vitamin D? With most of us spending much of our time inside
and dietary shortfalls, there is a chance you may not be receiving adequate levels
of Vitamin D.
In this webinar, Dr. Meletis will discuss the critical importance of maintaining
optimal levels of Vitamin D. With so much at stake with Vitamin D deficiency, this
is a must attend webinar

In the last century, progress in nutrition and hygiene has significantly curtailed
the incidence of infectious disease. Despite these advances, infectious conditions
remain the world’s leading cause of death. Current research reveals that bacterial,
viral and parasitic agents are also implicated in many cancers, chronic and autoimmune
disorders. Add the rise of antibiotic-resistant “bugs,” aging populations,
the impact of global travel, and the threat of bioterrorism, and it becomes evident
that maintaining a vigilant, responsive immune system is more crucial than ever.
Beta-1,3-D Glucan, a highly purified, yeast-derived polysaccharide, is one of the
most potent immune-enhancing agents available. Decades of research attest to the
ability of beta glucan to:
- Activate white blood cells to recognize and attack invaders
- Increase the “killing power” of phagocytes and NK cells
- Mobilize progenitor (“stem”) cells to maintain immune cell populations
- Enhance chemotaxis (immune cells ability to get to where they are needed)
- Help to balance the Th1 / Th2 immune response
- Act as a pre-probiotic
- Help stabilize blood sugar and maintain healthy cholesterol levels
- Overcome heavy metal suppression of immune function
- Enhance healing processes
Properly prepared Beta-1,3-D Glucan can turn relatively docile immune cells into
“shock troops” of immune response, offering greatly enhanced levels
of vigilance, killing and healing power. In this webinar, Dr. Vetvicka will review
recent research behind this potent immune-enhancing agent and why choosing the right
Beta-1,3-D Glucan is so critical.

The human brain is a complex organ comprised of 100 billion neurons (brain cells)
that are lost at a rate of 1 per second, or an astounding 85 thousand per day.
For years, the health of your brain cells was largely considered a one-shot deal:
Your neurons had a single non-dividing lifespan — and once they were gone,
there was no replacing them.
We now know that brain cells, under the right conditions, do regenerate and regrow
the neural communication network so important to cognition and memory.
Common symptoms related to brain dysfunction include:
- Inability to focus and concentrate
- Diminished cognitive (thinking) ability
- Impaired short term memory
In this webinar, Dr. Meletis will provide valuable insight on how the intake of
a few key nutrients can optimize brain performance.
What have you done for your brain lately?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizer that with time decreases throughout
your body. This leads to wrinkling and the older appearance of the skin. Clinically,
this can be referred to as the “plum to prune, grape to raisin phenomenon.” Now
this natural super-moisturizer, capable of holding up to 1000 times its own weight
in water can be applied topically. Hyaluronic acid (HA) in the skin is super-hydrating
and enhances elasticity to help prevent and lessen wrinkles.
Dr. Meletis will discuss the latest cutting edge research as it applies to the use
of HA. Bio-identical HA, topically applied, can buffer the decreased production
of HA that occurs with age and help restore a more youthful suppleness to the skin.

Symptom-free
or not, your GI Tract determines your overall health. There is not a more fundamental
marker of wellness than a pristine colon. An estimated 60 to 70 million people
are affected by overt diagnosable digestive disease. Poor absorption of nutrients
can produce a wide range of symptoms, which include:
• Bloating
• Constipation and/or diarrhea
• Allergic Reactions
• Bad Breath
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Food allergies and sensitivities
• Inflammatory join disease/arthritis
