Nodules in Adrenal

Dear Dr. Meletis, I have 2 nodules (small knot) in the right adrenal. I’m using Cortisol Control (3x day ) for 6 months and the level of cortisol remains higher (although it’s better with Cortisol Control). Do you have some recommendation to get the level of cortisol lower? I don’t want to have an operation on the gland. Cordially, Ms. G.

Dear Ms. G., It is important to continue to monitor your adrenal glands and track the size and consistency of the nodules on a regular basis and work closely with your medical doctor. SeriPhos™ (2 capsules, 2 times per day) would be a starting place and then monitor changes in your cortisol levels. Additionally, the adrenal glands are naturally particularly high in levels of Vitamin C and Pantothenic Acid; thus considering increasing these levels of nutrients would be a strong consideration. Clinically, when I see organs producing nodules, I recommend getting both a 24 hour Iodine Sufficiency Test and also an Organic Acid Test to help identify unique nutrients that your individual biochemistry may need. Both of these tests are offered here. The information provided here is educational and is not intended as either diagnosis or treatment. If you have not gotten a second opinion from another specialist, it is always important to glean further insights. Sincerely, Chris D. Meletis, ND
