Dear Dr. Meletis,

I’m taking  Zinc/Magnesium/B6, Triphala, and Arginine and a formula  that has Zinc monomethionine aspartate and magnesium aspartate. The labels say on empty stomach before bed… please tell me how this should be done…. I’m getting ready to start using Pearson/Shaw Arginine again. Thanks.

T.

Dear T.,

I am not sure what your wellness goals are relative to your current program.  Is it to support healthy blood pressure?  If so, I would encourage you to read about PRESSURE-fX™  and Circutrol BP™ at www.vrp.com.  If it is for muscular performance and strength then you may wish to read about D-ribose, CoQ10-H2™ and Mito-Boost®.  On the other hand, if your goal is to support adrenal performance, then read about AdaptaPhase® I and II.

You are correct that Arginine is generally taken on an empty stomach.  Noteworthy is if there is a history of viral issues such as EBV, CMV or herpes, then a degree of caution is generally given when using Arginine.
Not sure if I understood your question.  We wish you the best on your health and wellness journey.  Working closely with your personal healthcare provider is always essential.

The information shared here is educational and is not intended as either diagnosis or treatment.

Sincerely,
Chris D. Meletis, ND
