5-HTP and Inderal

Dear Dr. Dean,Can Inderal® (or Inderal LA®) be taken with 5-HTP? I plan to take 5-HTP at night (200 mg) and Inderal only as needed in the AM hours.Mr. G.

Dear Mr. G.,There is no contraindication to taking Inderal or Inderal LA with 5-HTP. They can be taken together or separately, as you plan to take them.Ward Dean, M.D.
